A little more about yours truly:

  • Founder

“G-Rad” is a certified Yoga and Meditation teacher (700hr+) based on the Surf Coast, VIC. Making the transition from Melbourne’s inner West to live beachside has been better than she could have imagined: a slower, more relaxed way of life. Her practice has evolved through many expressions, from Buddhist chanting as a teen, to hot yoga in her early 20’s, to falling in love with yin, meditation and pranayama, and embodying Himalayan Kundalini Kriya later in life. She is now co-facilitating 200hr teacher trainings with Good Folk Yoga. Yoga has been a course corrector, a grounding force, an empowering light, and something that has supported her through some challenging times. She feels honoured to share the ancient teachings in an accessible way - no beginner or “advanced”, no obligation, only an invitation to show up in all your humanness, in the best way you can in the moment, and in every moment.

In her classes you can expect to be guided and held to inhabit postures that feel appropriate for your unique body with plenty of options for those just beginning. We’ll explore pranayama (breath), mantra, yin and yang shapes, and kriya; practices which can combine all of the above.

These retreats are the culmination of 11 years of practice and 8 years of teaching. Georgia is so excited to have you along for the journey.

  • Founder.

Simon began his hospitality career at 15 working his way through nearly every job possible in the industry. After finding himself in London running one of the best cocktail bars in the world, he found himself increasingly drawn to food, its history, and its powerful ability to connect people and place. After studying his masters in Gastronomy in Edinburgh, Simon moved back to Aus and applied for Masterchef. He ended up on back-to-back seasons. This solidified his love of food and his passion for plant-based cooking.

Since then, Simon has hosted his very own plant-based cooking program ‘Freshly Picked’ on Channel 10 and SBS, is an ambassador for Hemp Foods Australia, Cockatoo Grove Olive Oil, Dilmah Tea, and Farmer’s Pick. With his connection with gastronomy, plant-based cooking, and his love of permaculture, he plans to share his love and educate others about the future of food through Well//Fed Retreats.
